Vinyl Decal Information & Disclaimer

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

Application of any SHHE Creates vinyl decal is done AT THE CUSTOMER'S OWN RISK.

Vinyl decals are designed for use on clean, dry, smooth, properly prepared surfaces. However, SHHE Creates cannot guarantee compatibility with every surface, material, coating, finish, paint, or application.

Surface age and condition, previous repairs or refinishing, surface preparation, temperature, environmental exposure, length of time the decal remains applied, installation method, and removal method may all affect both the performance of the vinyl and the condition of the underlying surface.

Vinyl decals may cause or contribute to discoloration, staining, adhesive residue, lifting, peeling, finish damage, paint damage, or other changes to the surface during installation, use, or removal.

The customer is solely responsible for determining whether the intended surface is appropriate for vinyl application and for properly installing, maintaining, and removing the decal.

SHHE Creates assumes no responsibility or liability for damage, discoloration, residue, loss, or other changes to any surface or item resulting from or associated with the installation, application, use, attempted removal, or removal of our vinyl decals.

Vehicle & Painted Surface Notice

Application of vinyl decals directly to painted vehicle surfaces requires additional care and is done AT THE CUSTOMER'S OWN RISK.

SHHE Creates cannot guarantee how vinyl will react with any vehicle paint, clear coat, aftermarket paint, repaired or repainted surface, wrap, protective coating, or existing finish.

Vehicle age, paint and clear-coat condition, previous bodywork, prolonged environmental exposure, length of installation, and improper application or removal may increase the possibility of damage.

Vinyl decals may cause or contribute to damage to paint, clear coat, or other vehicle finishes during application or removal, particularly on aged, damaged, weakened, previously repaired, repainted, or improperly prepared surfaces.

For vehicle applications, placement on clean automotive glass is recommended whenever possible to reduce the risks associated with applying vinyl directly to painted surfaces.

Surface Compatibility

Not every surface is suitable for adhesive vinyl. Use additional caution with textured, porous, delicate, freshly painted, damaged, weathered, coated, treated, or refinished surfaces.

When there is uncertainty about compatibility, customers should test the vinyl in a small, inconspicuous area before completing the full application.

Application & Removal

Surfaces should be clean, dry, smooth, and free of dirt, dust, wax, grease, oils, cleaners, and other contaminants before installation.

Customers are responsible for following appropriate application and removal practices for the surface involved. Improper application or removal may result in poor adhesion, damage to the decal, adhesive residue, or damage to the underlying surface.

Customer Acknowledgment

By purchasing, installing, applying, or using a SHHE Creates vinyl decal, the customer acknowledges that surface conditions and applications vary, understands that vinyl application and removal involve potential risks, and accepts responsibility for selecting an appropriate surface and for the installation, use, and removal of the product.
